Hyundai have expanded the 2026 Venue lineup with the launch of a new HX8 diesel automatic variant. Priced at Rs. 13.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant offers buyers a more affordable diesel-automatic option without compromising on top features of the Venue.

With the introduction of the HX8 trim, the Venue diesel automatic is now available in 3 variants – HX5, HX8 and HX10.

The new Venue HX8 variant is Rs. 1.81 lakh more affordable than the fully-loaded HX10 diesel automatic variant, making it a more accessible option for buyers looking for the convenience of an diesel automatic SUV.

The new HX8 variant offers several premium features that were earlier reserved for the higher variants. Some of the key highlights include:

  • Dual-tone leatherette seat upholstery
  • Ventilated front seats
  • 4-way powered driver’s seat
  • Drive modes

  • Connected car technology
  • Over-the-air (OTA) updates

In terms of safety, the Venue HX8 trim offers:

  • Traction control
  • 6 airbags
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
  • Rearview parking camera

However, Hyundai continue to reserve some features for the flagship HX10 variant. These include dual 12.3-inch curved screens, ADAS, 360-degree camera and the 8-speaker Bose sound system.

Hyundai Venue Bookings Milestone

Alongside the new variant launch, Hyundai also announced that the 2026 Venue has crossed 1 lakh bookings since its introduction. The new Venue competes against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Renault Kiger, among others in the highly competitive B2-segment.
