German luxury automaker BMW has revised its X5 line-up in India. The BMW X5-range in the country now includes the xDrive 30d Design Pure Experience variant and the xDrive 30d M Sport trim while the top end variant X5 M, continues to be sold unchanged. However, the automaker discontinued some popular variants of the X5 in the country as a part of their ongoing revisions to its India range.
Talking about the pricing, while the Design Pure Experience version comes with a price tag of Rs 74.70 lakh, the M Sport costs Rs 80.10 lakh, while the X5 M is priced at Rs 1.72 crore (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The discontinued variants include the 306hp, 3.0-litre xDrive 35i petrol model, the base-spec xDrive 30d Expedition and the Design Pure Experience 5+2 (seven-seater).
As other sports variants, the xDrive 30d M Sport trim sports slightly different exteriors and interiors as compared to the Design Pure Experience in order to make it sportier than the other. In terms of the kits, the M Sport gets a heads-up display and electrically adjustable front seats over the Pure Design Experience.
The automaker is expected to introduce a range of cars in the Indian market in 2018. The expected line-up includes the 6-series GT, the all-new M5, the BMW i8 Roadster and the third-gen X3. The M Sport variant of the BMW i8 has already been spied testing in the country recently. Stay tuned to V3cars.com for further updates on the upcoming BMW products in the country.
