Upcoming Cars In June 2026 – Maruti Flex Fuel, Hyundai EV

1. Maruti Suzuki Flex Fuel Vehicle

One of the most anticipated launches this month could be Maruti Suzuki's first flex-fuel vehicle for India. While the company have confirmed plans to introduce a flex-fuel model, it remains unclear whether the production version will be based on the WagonR Flex Fuel showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo or the Fronx Flex Fuel displayed in Japan.

2. Hyundai Electric SUV

Hyundai are also expected to strengthen their EV portfolio this month with the launch of a new electric SUV. While the company are yet to officially reveal details, heavily camouflaged test mules were spotted undergoing road testing in India multiple times over the past few months.

Hyundai Electric SUV

The new electric SUV is expected to slot below Hyundai's premium global EV offerings such as the Ioniq 5 and target SUVs such as the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV 3XO EV in the rapidly growing B2-segment electric SUV space. We expect it to offer a feature-rich cabin, connected car technology, advanced safety equipment and a competitive driving range. Hyundai will be hoping this model helps them gain a stronger foothold in India's increasingly competitive EV market.

Skoda Auto India could finally introduce the performance-focused Kodiaq RS in June 2026. The SUV was expected to arrive earlier, but its launch now appears likely in the coming weeks.

Skoda Kodiaq RS

Unlike the regular Kodiaq, the Kodiaq RS is expected to be brought to India via the completely built-up (CBU) route. As a result, it is likely to command a substantial premium over the standard Kodiaq variants.

The Kodiaq RS will feature a more aggressive exterior design, sportier interior treatment and a significantly more powerful version of the 2L turbo-petrol engine paired with all-wheel drive. For buyers looking for a practical 7-seat SUV with genuine performance credentials, the Kodiaq RS could emerge as a unique proposition in the premium SUV space.
