ZS EV-Rivaling BYD Atto 3 Unveiled Ahead Of Launch Next Month | V3Cars

BYD have taken the wraps off the Atto 3 electric crossover. The Atto 3 is the Chinese electric car manufacturer’s answer to the Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400 EV. You can now book the new BYD Atto 3 for a token amount of Rs. 50,000. BYD will reveal the prices for the Atto 3 in November while deliveries will begin in January 2023.

The India-bound BYD Atto 3 electric crossover comes with a 60.48kWh battery pack that is good for a ARAI-certified range of 521km on a single charge. The Atto 3 is the only electric crossover in the C-segment to offer advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like auto emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist, rear cross traffic and adaptive cruise control.

The BYD Atto 3 gets the segment-largest 60.48kWh battery pack. Additionally, the Atto 3 offers 203PS of power and 310Nm of torque, which are class leading. It is worth noting that the XUV400 also offers 310Nm of torque and is likely to come at a far lower price tag. BYD are yet to reveal the charging time and charging options for the Atto 3.
