In this February 2024 Maruti Suzuki Cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Arena and Nexa for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Maruti cars’ sales improved and which ones declined.
February 2024 - Maruti Suzuki Arena & Nexa Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Top Gainers:
- Ertiga stands out as the top gainer with a 139.79% increase in sales, selling 15,519 units in February 2024 compared to 6,472 units in February 2023.
- XL6 also shows a significant gain, with sales increasing by 94.17%, from 2,108 units to 4,093 units year-over-year (YoY).
- Grand Vitara has a healthy growth of 19.81%, with sales rising from 9,183 units to 11,002 units YoY.

Top Losers:
- Alto K10 experienced the most considerable decline, with sales dropping by -35.28%, from 18,114 units to 11,723 units YoY.
- Swift followed with a -28.50% decrease, selling 13,165 units in February 2024, down from 18,412 units in the previous year.
- Ignis also saw a significant drop of -55.57%, with sales falling from 4,749 units to 2,110 units YoY.

Notable Observations:
- WagonR remains the best-selling model with a positive growth of 14.94%, maintaining its top rank.
- New models like Fronx, Invicto, and Jimny have been introduced, but their sales figures for the previous year are not available for comparison.
- The B2 segment, which includes models like Baleno, Dzire, and Brezza, shows mixed results with both gains and losses.

- Jimny shows the most significant increase with a 97.55% rise in sales, from 163 units in January to 322 units in February.
- Ciaz also displays a notable increase, with sales up by 32.51%, from 363 units to 481 units MoM.

Top Losers:
- Grand Vitara faced the steepest decline, with a -18.13% change, selling 11,002 units in February down from 13,438 in January.
- Celerio and Ignis also saw significant drops in sales, with -18.61% and -18.78% changes respectively.
