The festive season is around the corner and in order to attract customers to its showrooms, Honda has launched the Amaze Special Edition. It is based on the S variant and attracts a premium of Rs 12,000 over the donor variant. Prices of the Amaze Special Edition range from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9.10 lakh.

Over the S, the special edition Amaze gets features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (S gets 2 din music system), sliding front armrest and new seat covers. On the outside, it gets new body graphics and Special Edition badging.
Other features on the Amaze Special Edition remain similar to the S variant. It gets features such as electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, wheel covers, shark fin antenna, steering mounted controls, keyless entry with central locking, height-adjustable driver seat, speed-sensing door lock, rear centre armrest with cup holder, tilt-adjustable steering and adjustable front headrests. Safety features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Honda Amaze Special Edition will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 90PS and 110Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5-litre unit making 100PS (80PS on CVT) and 200Nm (160Nm on CVT). Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT.
