In this article, we’ll list out the waiting periods for the 2024 Hyundai Exter based on specific variants and powertrain configurations.
Disclaimer: The waiting periods mentioned here are tentative and likely to vary depending on the stock available with the dealer for a specific colour-engine-transmission-variant combination. Considering Hyundai’s production process, this should give you some idea of how long you may have to wait to take delivery of the Exter. While these are primarily applicable for the northern region, the Exter waiting period mentioned here should more or less align for the rest of the country as well.
The Hyundai Exter’s base EX and EX(O) variants command the highest waiting period of 4-6 weeks in April 2024. All other Exter variants, including the Exter CNG, have a waiting period of 2-4 weeks.

The Hyundai Exter is priced between Rs. 6.13 lakh to Rs. 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets 2 engine options – a 1.2L normal petrol and 1.2L CNG bi-fuel. The normal petrol engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The CNG engine is only available with a 5-speed manual.
The 2024 Exter rivals the Tata Punch and Citroen C3, among other small SUVs in the B1 segment.
