2022 Hyundai Venue Misses On Arkamys Sound Whereas Its Arch Rival Gains | V3Cars

Hyundai India recently launched the Venue facelift with several changes to its design and feature list. In the process, the Venue facelift lost a few features like fog lamps and the premium Arkamys sound system. While the Venue facelift doesn’t come with the Arkamys sound system anymore, e have earnt that its its arch rival, the 2022 Maruti Brezza, will be offered with this premium feature.

The new Hyundai Venue now comes with an unbranded sound system. When V3Cars asked Hyundai about this feature deletion, the company stated that the royalty fee for the Arkamys sound system doesn’t fitting the bill for the South Korean carmaker. On the other hand, the arch rival to the new Venue, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza is set to gain a lot of new features, including speakers tuned by Arkamys.

Speaking about other features of the upcoming 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the new sub-4m SUV will offer an electric sunroof, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, 360-degree parking camera, and a head-up display.

The new Venue, in comparison, misses out on 360-degree parking camera and a head-up display. However, it redeems itself with features like an air purifier, power-adjustable driver’s seat. all-digital instrument cluster and 2-step recline for the rear seats.

Maruti Suzuki are set to launch the 2022 Brezza on June 30. Bookings for the 2022 Brezza are currently open at all Maruti Arena dealerships. Maruti aim to put up a tough fight with the updated Hyundai Venue along with other sub-4m compact SUVs like the Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
