The new 1.9 litre diesel motor is capable of delivering 150 PS of peak power and 350 Nm of top torque, which makes it more powerful than the existing 2.5 litre engine in the lower variants of the pick-up paired to a standard 5 speed manual transmission. The 1.9 litre oil burner also comes with all-4 wheel drive system like the 2.5 litre unit. The new engine is also BS4 compliant like the bigger motor. However, while the new motor is going to get BS6 complaint with an upgrade, the 2.5 litre engine is likely to be discontinued.

The new limited edition V-Cross also gets new two-tone leather seat upholstery along with soft touch panels on the dashboard and door trims. The Z-Prestige variant also gets a new roof mounted speaker that takes the total number of speakers to eight. The Z Prestige limited edition trim also gets endowed with added side and curtain airbags adding up to a total 6 airbags. There is also a Brake Override System (BOS) in the new variant taking the safety quotient even higher.
The new V-Cross Z-Prestige limited edition variant is available for sale in 4 attractive exterior colour options – Pearl White, Cosmic Black, Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red.
The Isuzu V-Cross range thus now has total three model trims – Standard priced at Rs. 15.54 lakhs, Z tagged at Rs. 17.06 lakhs, and the new Z-Prestige limited edition priced at Rs. 19.99 lakhs.
