Update (Jan 15, 2024): We can now confirm the lineup of cars Skoda will showcase at the 2025 Auto Expo.

Participating brands include Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Skoda, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Kia, MG, Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, VinFast, BYD, and others. This article will focus on the cars, SUVs and EVs that Skoda have confirmed for the the Expo. Our list includes the new Superb, Kodiaq, Enyaq facelift, among others.

1. Kylaq

Skoda India have confirmed the 2025 Kylaq SUV will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Launched in November 2024 at a starting price of Rs. 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Skoda Kylaq rivals other B2-segment SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and others. 2. Slavia

Skoda will present the 2025 Slavia at the Auto Expo 2025. Apart from the bog standard sedan, we expect Skoda India to showcase the Slavia with a sporty body kit or even a matte paint finish for India’s largest auto show. The Slavia is currently available with 1L and 1.5L turbo petrol engines with the option of manual and automatic transmission.

3. Kushaq

Apart from the Kylaq, Skoda India will also showcase the Kushaq SUV from their current model portfolio. The Kushaq, which sits above the Kylaq, rivals C-segment SUVs such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Sonet, Honda Elevate and MG Astor, among others. 4. New Superb

Skoda India will also unveil the all-new Superb at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Currently available in global markets, the new Superb is expected to be introduced to the Indian market as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

The new Superb is likely to retain the current 2L turbocharged petrol engine, although reports suggest that a diesel engine option may be introduced at a later stage. As a CBU import, the new Superb is expected to command a premium price in the Indian market. Currently, the existing generation of the Superb is available in India with significant discounts of up to Rs 18 lakh on remaining inventory.

5. New Kodiaq

The all-new Skoda Kodiaq is also set to make its Indian debut at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Show in New Delhi, commencing on January 17th. Based on the advanced MQB Evo platform, the new Kodiaq boasts significant upgrades over its predecessor, including a refined exterior design, a comprehensively revamped interior with enhanced technology and features, and improved driving dynamics.

While exact specifications are yet to be revealed, the new Kodiaq is expected to continue with the 2L turbo petrol engine from the current model. The India-spec model is likely to be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), positioning it as a premium offering in the segment. Skoda is expected to launch the new Kodiaq in India between April and June 2025, further solidifying its presence in the premium SUV segment.

6. Octavia vRS

Skoda are likely considering the return of the sporty Octavia RS to the Indian market. The upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 will offer a glimpse into these plans, allowing Skoda to gauge customer interest and gather valuable market feedback.

While official details are still awaited, the Indian-spec Octavia RS is expected to be powered by a 2L turbo petrol engine, delivering an impressive 268PS of power and 370Nm of torque. This engine will likely be paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.

7. Elroq

Skoda India have confirmed the showcase of the Elroq electric SUV. The Skoda Elroq is a compact electric SUV built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform. It made its global debut last year. Sharing its underpinnings with models like the Audi Q4 e-tron and Volkswagen ID.3, the Elroq offers a compelling blend of style and sustainability.

Measuring in at 4.49 meters, the Elroq sits between the Karoq and the larger Enyaq iV in Skoda’s global lineup. It offers 3 battery pack options – 52kWh, 59kWh, and 77kWh – delivering a range of power outputs from 170PS to 285PS.

While there are currently no plans for the Elroq’s launch in India, Skoda is showcasing the model at the Bharat Mobility Expo to gauge customer interest and assess its potential in the Indian market. 

8. Vision 7S Concept 

Skoda will also showcase the Vision 7S SUV concept at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. First unveiled in August 2022, the Vision 7S concept provides a glimpse into Skoda’s future design direction. It debuted the brand’s new logo and introduced the “Modern Solid” design language, which is now evident in recent models like the latest-generation Kylaq, Superb and Kodiaq. These models also borrow design cues from the Vision 7S, such as the distinctive steering wheel design.
