In this January 2024 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.
January 2024 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Top Gainers: The Hilux model has seen the most significant growth with a YoY change of 28800%, followed by the Innova Crysta/HyCross with a YoY change of 558.72%, and the Camry with a YoY change of 428.81%. These models have shown a substantial increase in sales compared to January 2023.
- Top Loser: The Fortuner model has experienced a decrease in sales with a YoY change of -13.12%, indicating a drop in its popularity or market demand.
- The Innova Crysta/HyCross is the top-selling model in January 2024 with 9,400 units sold, which is a significant increase from the 1,427 units sold in January 2023.
- The Rumion model appears to be a new entrant in the market as there are no sales data available for January 2023. It sold 639 units in January 2024.
- The Hyryder and Glanza models have also shown a positive YoY growth of 32.16% and 12.41% respectively.
- Despite the decrease in sales, the Fortuner model still managed to sell 3,213 units in January 2024, making it the fourth highest-selling model.

January 2024 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Top Gainers: The Camry model has seen the most significant growth with a MoM change of 73.33%, followed by the Vellfire with a MoM change of 64.86%, and the Innova Crysta/HyCross with a MoM change of 20.02%. These models have shown a substantial increase in sales compared to December 2023.
- Top Loser: The Rumion model has experienced a decrease in sales with a MoM change of -23.29%, indicating a drop in its popularity or market demand.
- The Innova Crysta/HyCross continues to be the top-selling model in January 2024 with 9,400 units sold, which is an increase from the 7,832 units sold in December 2023.
- The Glanza and Hilux models have shown a negative MoM growth of -8.51% and -10.25% respectively, indicating a decrease in sales.
- Despite the decrease in sales, the Fortuner model has shown a slight increase in sales with a MoM change of 3.51%.
