In this June 2022 cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures of all A-segment hatchbacks in India. We’ll also include our observations based on the sales data and possible reasons behind a massive increase or drop in sales, where applicable. In May 2022, Maruti Suzuki had the top 3 spots in A-segment hatchbacks but the S-Presso’s sales figure drop pushed it to the 4th spot in June 2022 as Kwid takes the 3rd spot
The Alto still maintains its lead in the A-segment hatchback space posting 5-figure production numbers in June 2022
The Celerio saw the biggest YoY change in June 2022 with a gain of 1,055%
This skewed YoY gain is because the Celerio was about to get a generation change last year and had less demand as customers were waiting for the update
S-Presso and Santro lost by whopping 88% and 99.6%
Datsun redi-Go was discontinued

The Santro witnessed the biggest drop of 99% MoM decline in sales
S-Presso is the second biggest loser in MoM with 85% drop
