June 2022 Cars Sales Analysis - Overall Snapshot With YoY, MoM Change | V3Cars

In this June 2022 detailed cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the YoY and MoM change in sales figures for each car and the YoY, MoM change each car witnessed in the same month.

We’ll also include last 6 month sales to give you an idea about the 6-month trend of each car on sale in India and share our observations.

Excluding low-volume Kona Electric from the Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki’s Celerio hatchback had over 1,000% gains in YoY comparison and beats all other available models in the industry by a huge margin in terms of overall sale increase.
Toyota’s Fortuner D2 segment SUV is the second largest gainer in terms of YoY percentage, with a 470% increase in sales.
The Indian car market saw many discontinuations in the past year like Datsun Redi-Go and Mahindra KUV100, which was last seen on dealership floors in March of this year.
In the last 6-9 months, we’ve witnessed a lot of action in the Indian auto industry with a bunch of new car launches, generation updates and mid-life refreshes.
