Kia Carens Clavis 6-Seater Now More Affordable; New HTX (O) Variant Introduced | V3Cars

The 2025 Carens Clavis is now available in a new HTX (O) variant that offers features that were earlier limited to the top HTX Plus variant of the MPV. Additionally, Kia are now offering the 6-seater layout in the HTK Plus, HTK Plus (O) and the new HTX (O) variants.

Kia Carens Clavis 6-Seater Variant-Wise Prices

Earlier, if buyers wanted the Carens Clavis with the 6-seater layout, they were limited to the top HTX Plus variant. And that meant they could only get it with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Now, however, Kia are offering the option of having captain seats in the 2nd row of HTK Plus, HTK Plus (O) and HTX (O) variants. 

Interestingly, buyers opting for this option are no longer limited to the turbo petrol engine as the HTK Plus 6-seater variant is also available with the 1.5L diesel engine and a 6-speed torque converter (TC) automatic transmission.

These changes have made the Kia Carens Clavis 6-seater Rs. 2.40 lakh more affordable than before.

Kia Carens Clavis HTX (O): What Does It Offer?

The new HTX (O) sits in between the HTX and HTX Plus variants of the Carens Clavis turbo petrol. Unlike the other 2 variants, the new HTX (O) is only available with a single transmission option – the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

The HTX (O) variant borrows several features that were earlier limited to the top HTX Plus variant. These include:

• Remote engine start
• Dual 12.25-inch screens
• 8-speaker Bose sound system
• Drive modes (Eco, Normal, Sport)
• Electronic parking brake with auto hold

In terms of safety, the new HTX (O) variant offers 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring sensor (TPMS).
