2024 Kia Sonet Facelift Achieves 1 Lakh Sales Milestone In 11 Months

The 2024 Sonet, introduced earlier this year, boasts a refreshed design, enhanced features, and improved safety technology. It is currently available with a range of petrol and diesel engine options, including a 1.2L normal petrol engine, a 1L turbo-petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine. 

Key Factors Contributing To Kia Sonet’s Success

• Strong Customer Appeal: The Sonet’s stylish design, extensive feature list, and powerful engine options have resonated strongly with Indian buyers.
• Premium Features: Features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital driver's display, a Bose sound system, ventilated seats, and a sunroof have significantly enhanced the Sonet’s appeal.
• Safety Focus: The Sonet prioritises safety with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS features.

Kia Sonet Petrol Variants Outsell Diesel Variants 

The 2024 Kia Sonet’s petrol variants continue to dominate sales, accounting for 76% of the total. Sunroof-equipped models are also highly popular, with 79% of customers opting for this feature. Automatic transmissions account for 34% of total sales, reflecting the growing demand for convenience and ease of driving.
