In order to celebrate the first anniversary of the KUV100, Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the special Anniversary Edition of the vehicle.
The sub-4 meter microSUV model from Mahindra has sold more than 42,000 units, since it first launched in India. The KUV100 Anniversary Edition will be offered in the market only on the range topping K8 model trim and will be available in petrol as well as in diesel engine options. The Mahindra KUV100 Anniversary edition model comes with two body paint options, namely Flamboyant Red and Dazzling Silver with a Metallic Black colored roof. The mini SUV has been also endowed with larger, funkier 15 inch alloy wheels with a funky new design, sportier premium black interior theme. The lower models - K6 and K6+ model trims get cool spider inspired 14 inch alloy wheels.
Moreover, the Mahindra KUV100 also offers personalization options to the customers with 4 new accessory kits for the exterior as well as interior. These accessory kits offer a plethora of additions that enhance the styling of the car.
While launching the Mahindra KUV100 Anniversary Edition model, the President & Chief Executive Officer of the Automotive division of Mahindra & Mahindra, Pravin Shah said that on the first anniversary of the KUV100, the company would like to thank the valued customers for their support in creating this new SUV segment. The KUV100 has the appeal of an SUV while providing the practicality of a compact car, offering a persuasive value proposition. The company has launched the new updated model of the KUV100 with two-tone exterior body paint, sporty premium black interiors and larger dynamic alloys along with several accessory kits. The company is confident that this new model will further add to the KUV100's style quotient and enhance its appeal for the youth and make it a popular choice.
The Mahindra KUV100 was launched in January last year and the company’s first offering that rivals the popular compact hatchback models in India. The trendy, beefy SUV styling of the model is its greatest buy point, while the special edition model with all the changes and added benefits will keep its charms fresh and is more capable of fighting with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Maruti Swift and the upcoming refreshed Grand i10.
The Mahindra KUV100 micro-SUV has a starting price of Rs. 4.58 lakhs for the base K2 model and is currently the most affordable model from Mahindra & Mahindra’s stable.
