Maruti Suzuki are all set to launch their brand-new C-SUV in India tomorrow, September 3, 2025. The SUV, which will be retailed through the Arena dealership network, will rival the segment leader Hyundai Creta while offering a more accessible price point compared to the premium Grand Vitara sold via Nexa outlets.
Maruti Arena C-SUV Expected Price And Positioning
The upcoming Maruti Arena C-SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 9.99 lakh and Rs. 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This will place it above the Brezza (Rs. 8.69 lakh - Rs. 14.14 lakh) and below the Grand Vitara (Rs. 11.42 lakh - Rs. 20.52 lakh).
With a starting price under Rs. 10 lakh, Maruti hope to attract budget-conscious buyers while offering enough variants to take on the Hyundai Creta (Rs. 11.11 lakh - Rs. 20.50 lakh) directly. However, the new SUV could overlap with the Brezza’s top variants.
Expected Powertrain Options
While Maruti Suzuki haven’t revealed engine details yet, the upcoming C-SUV is expected to share its powertrains with the Grand Vitara and Brezza. Likely options include:
Mileage figures are also expected to mirror the Grand Vitara:
- Mild-hybrid: 20.58–21.11kmpl
- Strong hybrid: 27.97kmpl
CNG: 26.60 km/kg
All-wheel-drive (AWD), which is offered with the top variant of the Grand Vitara, is not expected in the Arena C-SUV lineup.

The upcoming C-SUV is expected to borrow many features from Maruti’s Brezza and Grand Vitara, including:

- Ventilated front seats
- Leather upholstery
- 360-degree surround view camera
- Head-up display
- Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
- Wireless phone charger
- 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- 7-inch digital instrument cluster
- Arkamys-tuned sound system
- Auto-folding ORVMs
- LED projector headlamps
- Rear wiper and washer
On the safety front, Maruti is expected to offer 6 airbags, all-seat 3-point seatbelts with reminders, and ESP as standard, aligning with their 2025 product updates.
