Maruti Suzuki have launched the Fronx CNG at a starting price of Rs. 8.41 lakh (ex-showroom). It shares its 1.2L normal petrol-CNG powertrain with the Baleno CNG. Read on to know more about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Now With CNG
Maruti Suzuki have added another new CNG model in their portfolio, taking the total count to 15 CNG models. The carmaker has already sold over 14 lakh CNG models in the country and currently sits as the largest CNG passenger cars manufacturer in India.

Unlike the Baleno CNG that is available in Delta and Zeta variants, the Fronx CNG comes in the lower 2 variants — Sigma and Delta. Like every other Maruti Suzuki offering, the CNG engine option commands a premium of Rs. 95,000 over its equivalent petrol-powered variant.

As you can see from the table above, the Fronx CNG makes considerably less power and torque output than its petrol counterpart. However, it offers 28.51kmpkg fuel efficiency, which is 6.72kmpl more than the Fronx normal petrol.
