Italian luxury car maker, Maserati has displayed its Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante’s Nerissimo Edition models at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show 2018. As the blacked-out theme is quite popular among the auto majors, especially when the special edition models are concerned, Maserati has also chosen the same treatment for its Nerissimo Editions of its Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante.
Nerissimo Edition is particularly a "total black" treatment for the cars, which make them look more premium, mean and sophisticated all at the same time. The Maserati Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante all come with their respective Nerissimo Edition, which is available only in their respective GranSport trim level. The special all black effect does make the exterior design of these three cars more special and striking. All three cars get a very deep and attractive black paint job. To further accentuate the body paint, there is a front grille finished in Black Chrome trim for the upper part of the frame and the Trident. The side air vents, the boot and the Maserati insignia on the C-pillars and at the back of the cars also get the same black chrome finish. The exclusive black treatment is also given to the grille slats, door handles, window trims and also on the exhaust pipe tips, and that why Maserati calls it "total black". Thus, the Nerissimo Editions are certainly for the black lovers, who want to flash their style quotient in the mysterious and elegant black color.
However, even though all the three Maserati cars get the same black treatment in their Nerissimo Edition models, there are some subtle differences between these models. For instance, the Ghibli sports sedan and Quattroporte flagship executive sedan flaunt darkened LED headlights and offer the option of choosing between 20 inch Urano and 21 inch Titano alloy wheels both painted in glossy black. On the other hand, the Levante SUV comes with added new features in its Nerissimo Edition, which includes front and rear underbody protection and black rings for the fog lights. The Levante Nerissimo Edition model offer the options of a 20 inch Nereo, 20 inch Efesto and 21 inch Anteo alloy wheels, and it need not be mentioned that all the three alloy wheel choices come in dark finish.
The fantastic all black treatment is also continued on the inside of the Nerissimo Edition models. The Ghibli Nerissimo Edition’s cabin boasts of heated front and rear sport seats, a heated sports steering wheel, all in Dark Mirror interior theme, while buyers also have the option to choose from Black Piano and Carbon fiber trims as well. The flagship model Quattroporte’s Nerissimo Edition comes with Black Piano and Carbon fibre trim choices. Lastly, the Levante Nerissimo Edition offers the added features of heated front and rear Sports seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, electric foot pedals and the Easy Entry system.
These three Nerissimo Edition models from the house of Maserati are meant to simply impress and charm the premium car lovers.
