2026 Citroen eC3 Teased Ahead Of Launch; Could Get New Features | V3Cars

Citroen have teased the upcoming eC3 facelift ahead of its launch in India. This will be the first major update for the electric SUV since it was introduced in 2023. The updated model is expected to bring styling revisions, additional features and improvements to the cabin while retaining its existing electric powertrain.

2026 Citroen eC3 Facelift Teased; New Features Likely

Like the recently updated C3 SUV, the electric version is also expected to adopt the ‘X’ suffix as part of its name.

Expected To Get LED Headlamps And Revised Styling

While the overall design of the eC3 facelift will remain familiar, Citroen are expected to introduce a few cosmetic upgrades to align it with the recently updated C3X.

Expected exterior changes include:

Projector LED headlamps
LED front fog lamps
Revised front and rear bumpers
Updated wheel designs
New colour options and dual-tone combinations

The facelift is expected to retain the same dimensions as the current model.

Interior Could Get More Features And Better Quality

The bulk of the updates are likely to be focused on the cabin. Citroen could equip the eC3 facelift with the updated 7-inch digital instrument cluster that debuted on the updated C3X. In addition, higher variants could offer several new features aimed at improving both convenience and safety.

Expected feature additions include:

360-degree camera
Auto-dimming IRVM
6 airbags

The eC3 is likely to retain several existing features such as:

10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Fabric seat upholstery
Toggle-type drive selector

Citroen are also expected to improve the fit and finish of the cabin, similar to the enhancements seen on the updated C3X hatchback.

No Mechanical Changes Expected

The eC3 facelift is unlikely to receive any changes to its battery pack or electric motor. Expected powertrain specifications include:

The current Citroen eC3 is available in 4 variants with prices ranging from Rs. 11.99 lakh to Rs. 13.26 lakh (ex-showroom). With the addition of new features and equipment, the facelifted model could command a slight premium over the outgoing version.

Once launched, the updated eC3 will continue to rival EVs such as the Tata Tiago EV and Punch EV while also competing with entry-level electric cars like the MG Comet EV.
