Spy shots of the next generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire undergoing winter testing have emerged online ahead of the B2-segment sedan’s launch later this year. The latest Dzire spy shots show the 2024 Dzire testing alongside the new Swift. Although covered in heavy camouflage, the latest spy shots show the new Dzire equipped with a single-pane sunroof.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire To Get Segment-First Sunroof

Based on the latest spy shots, we expect Maruti Suzuki to offer the new Dzire with a sunroof, at least in its top variant. The Dzire is expected to get an electronically-operated single-pane sunroof, which could make it the first B2-segment sedan in India to offer this highly sought after feature.

The latest spy shots of the Dzire do not reveal any radar or camera up front for ADAS tech. Hence, the chances of the new Dzire and Swift offering ADAS are slim. However, the spy shots do reveal cameras mounted on the ORVM covers, which suggests the top variants of the Dzire could get a 360-degree surround view monitor.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2025 – Interiors And Features

Like in the current model, we expect the 2025 Dzire’s cabin to feature a light beige finish over the Swift’s black interior theme. The new Dzire will share several features with the upcoming Swift hatchback, including a floating 9.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital MID (multi-info display), automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry and go, and more.

The spy shots also reveal 2 adjustable headrests for rear seat passengers and a manually adjustable inside rear view mirror (IRVM). Other features we could expect in the new Dzire include 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, 6 airbags in top variants, a head-up display, and a wireless charger

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2025 – Expected Powertrain Options

The new Maruti Dzire may come with Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine codenamed the Z12. The new engine produces 82PS of power and 108Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic. The new engine is likely to offer improved fuel efficiency over the current Dzire, which offers a mileage of 22.41kmpl with the manual and 22.61kmpl with the automatic.

Maruti Suzuki are likely to launch the new Dzire sometime early in 2025. When launched, it will compete with other B2-segment sedans like the Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor.
