Nissan Gravite Price Estimation — Rebadging & Royalty

The Nissan Gravite is essentially a rebadge of the Renault Triber. Based on the revealed teaser images of the Gravite 2026, even the tail lamp cluster looks exactly This kind of rebadging is quite common not only in the global auto industry but also among Renault and Nissan. Renault and Nissan have had a bunch of rebadged versions in their India portfolio so far. For instance:

• Renault Pulse & Nissan Micra
• Renault Duster & Nissan Terrano

2026 Gravite Expected Price — Setting A Baseline

Just like most other rebadges, we can expect significant part sharing and possibly even variant lineup sharing to manage the costs and minimise the changes in the production line.

Since Nissan are probably going to have to pay some royalty to Renault, we shouldn’t expect them to have a lower price for the Gravite. Also, they wouldn’t want to blatantly eat into the Triber’s market share, we shouldn’t expect them to have the same overlapping prices.

Hence, we expect them to have competitive but higher prices than the Triber. Using the Triber price range as the baseline, we expect the Gravite 2026 price to range from Rs. 6.0 lakh and go up to Rs. 8.50 lakh.
