Skoda are expected to launch the next-generation Superb in India in Q4 2025. The sedan is likely to be offered in a single, top-spec variant called L&K. Like the predecessor, the new Superb will arrive as a CBU (completely built unit) in limited numbers.
2025 Skoda Superb Expected Price Breakdown
We expect the new Superb to be priced between ₹55.00 lakh to ₹60.00 lakh (ex-showroom).. Here's a simplified breakdown based on variant positioning:
Why We Expect This Price Range
Let’s go back in time to understand how we arrived at this expected price range.
- In 2023, Skoda discontinued the Superb in India. At that time, it was priced around ₹38 lakh (ex-showroom) and was locally assembled.
- In 2024, they reintroduced the older-generation (same) Superb as a CBU, priced at around ₹54 lakh. This was a hike of nearly ₹16 lakh over the previous version.
- Now, for the next-gen Superb, Skoda are expected to continue with the CBU import route. Given the updates it gets in this new avatar, we believe the price could rise by up to ₹6 lakh.
To support this assumption, look at the recent launch of the new Skoda Kodiaq L&K. It now costs ₹48.69 lakh, which is ₹8.7 lakh more than its previous version. The new Superb gets almost the same updates as the Kodiaq, which further strengthens the case for a ₹55 to ₹60 lakh price tag.
However, the price increase for the Superb is expected to be lower than the Kodiaq due to relatively low demand for the last-generation Superb.

How It Compares with Rivals
Here’s how the Skoda Superb’s expected pricing compares with its key competitors:
The new Skoda Superb will go up against models like the BMW 2 Series, Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Audi A4, and Toyota Camry. In terms of length, it’s bigger than the German rivals and almost the same as the Camry. While most of these sedans are priced between ₹44 lakh and ₹56 lakh (ex-showroom), the Superb is expected to be positioned at the higher end of this range.

- Digital instrument cluster
- Gear selector on the steering column

2025 Skoda Superb Powertrain Specs
Although the new Superb offers a variety of petrol and diesel engine options globally, the India-spec model is expected to launch with the 2.0L turbo-petrol engine first, with the 2.0L diesel likely to be reintroduced later.
