2026 Tata Punch Base Model (Smart) & Base+1 (Pure) Variant Start Reaching Dealership (Image Gallery) | V3Cars
Thanks to a long-time reader and audience member of V3Cars, we now have real-world images of the new 2026 Tata Punch facelift base model (Smart variant) and base + 1 (Pure variant). The new Tata Punch 2026 cars are starting to reach dealerships for delivery and demo. The V3Cars audience, Raghav Sharma, was visiting a Tata dealership to check out the Tiago but on learning about the new Punch, he decided to see one of the lower variants with prices comparable to those of a mid-higher Tiago trims.
2026 Tata Punch Base Model (Smart) — Real Image Gallery
The 2 examples of the new Punch facelift SUV Raghav saw at the dealership were available in grey colour. The base Smart variant was with the petrol-manual powertrain while the higher Pure variant was available with the CNG-manual powertrain.

Tata Punch Smart Variant Rear (Exterior)
The lower 2 variants get black steel without wheel covers. The boot lid gets red accent stretching across the width but it doesn’t illuminate. Connected rear LED lightbar is available in the top 2 variants only.

Punch Base Model (Interior)
Central locking is available w/ 1 remote and 1 key.

Punch Base Base Variant Steering (Interior)
Notice the lack of music system and steering-mounted controls. Media controls are available in the next Pure variant onwards. The steering wheel of the new Punch base model also doesn’t get a backlit Tata logo. This feature is available in all other variants.

New Tata Punch 2026 Smart Variant Rear Seats (Interior)
While it’s not clearly visible in these images with dust covers on the seats, the Punch base model gets black fabric upholstery. Light grey upholstery is available in Pure and higher variants. Also notice the lack of rear AC vents, which are available in Pure and higher variants
2026 Tata Punch Pure Variant (Base + 1) — Real Image Gallery
On the outside, the new Punch Pure variant looks exactly the same as the base variant. That means, black steel wheels and no wheel covers.

Notice the CNG sticker on the windshield of the car as the Pure variant shown here has CNG powertrain.

Notice the iCNG badging on the lower-right of the boot lid along with the prominent CNG sticker on the rear windshield.

Tata Punch Pure Variant Dashboard (Interior)
Notice the inclusion of steering-mounted controls in this variant. Music system or touchscreen is not available in the Pure variant although it gets 4 speakers pre-installed. An 8-inch touchscreen system is available in Pure Plus and higher variants while the top 2 variants get a larger, 10.25-inch touchscreen.

2026 Punch Pure Variant Rear (Interior)
Notice the grey interior fabric upholstery, which is available in Pure and higher variants. The top 2 variants get black & grey dual-tone fabric upholstery. Also, notice the rear AC vents, which are not available in the base trim but Pure & higher variants get this feature.
