    Top 7 car models from the Geneva Motor Show 2018

    It is that time of the year again when the world’s auto enthusiasts get to feast their eyes on fascinating cars and concepts at the platform of Europe’s largest auto show – the Geneva International Motor Show.

    Here is a list of the top 7 cars displayed at the ongoing 2018 Geneva Motor show:

    1. Jaguar I-Pace

    Jaguar unveiled its first all-electric vehicle, the I-Pace just ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, but still it is a major crowd puller. The I-Pace gets a 90kWh battery that can offer a claimed range of 298 miles. The sporty e-SUV’s two permanent synchronous electric motors deliver 400hp that makes the vehicle sprint from 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds.

    On the inside, there are dual stacked infotainment displays and six USB ports along with 4G Wi-Fi connectivity capability apart from many more goodies.

    2. Audi A6 Saloon

    Much of the hi-tech features and amazing equipments of the ultra-luxurious Audi A8 have been endowed to the smaller A6. There are two new touch-screen displays for the infotainment and other comfort features.

    The Haptic feedback is a first time offering on the A6 and provides a tangible sensation while interacting with the displays. The new sharper and faster Virtual Cockpit display replaces the analogue instrument binnacles.

    There’s also Audi's SAE Level 3 Traffic Jam Pilot system that lets the drivers hand over full control of the car to the autonomous system during crawling traffic. The cool illuminated seatbelt clips deserve a special mention.


    3. Citroen Berlingo Multispace

    The Citroen Berlingo Multispace is a van-based MPV which is set to be a bestseller for the French auto major.

    The 7-seater Berlingo Multispace is styled in the line of the C3 Cactus and C4 Picasso, and is all about the space and comfort. It comes in two different wheelbases and offers an automatically opening rear windscreen to offer easy access to its large boot.

    4. Ferrari 488 Pista

    The recently unveiled Ferrari 488 Pista is the most powerful V8 engine that the famed Italian sports car maker has ever created.

    The Pista which means track offers a massive 720 hp, has a dry weight of just 1,280kg and can do the 0-62mph sprint in a just 2.85 seconds. It offers a top speed of 211mph.

    The 488 Pista has a strong motorsport heritage and gets a 20 percent enhancement in aerodynamic downforce and gets the Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer to improve handling apart from a slew of other tech changes.


    5. Bentley Bentayga PHEV

    The Bentley Bentayga has added a plug-in hybrid variant to the lineup. The Bentayga PHEV offers no visual changes and gets powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 petrol engine paired with an electric motor and Lithium-ion battery pack. The powertrain is good to develop a great 412hp, and also offer a full-electric mode.

    6. Zenovo TSR-S

    The Danish Zenovo TSR-S is placed as an extreme road-going version of its TSR racer. It is insanely aerodynamic, packs in an in-house twin-supercharged V8 mill that offers a crazy 1177 bhp, 0-62mph sprinting capability in 2.8 seconds and flaunts a very complex rear wing.

    Named as the Zenvo Centripetal Wing, this rear wing is certainly the primary attraction and acts both as an air brake to slow down the vehicle and to create an incredible amount of downforce to facilitate high-speed cornering.

    There are also several other advanced aerodynamic elements and a dual gearbox set-up to switch between standard road configuration and a highly sporty motorsports experience.

    7. Techrules Ren RS

    Chinese car maker Techrules offers a single-seat racecar which comes packed with six motors that combine to offer a jaw-dropping 1,287bhp of power. It can do the 0-62mph sprint in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 205mph.

    Moreover, the racecar’s diesel turbine supports the battery packs to offer a claimed range of 727 miles with just 80 litres of fuel.
