In this July 2024 Cars Sales analysis article, we’ll look at the 20 top-selling cars for the month of July. We will also look at the total and average sales figures of the 20 bestselling cars in the last 6-months ending July 2024. We’ll also share the monthly sales figures of each of these 20 cars for the last 6 months.

Bodystyle Participation Trend In Top 20
Among the top 20 best-selling cars, in the last 6 months, we have noticed the SUVs and MPVs maintain a strong position. Hatchbacks and sedans continue with their low contribution in the list of top 20.
Manufacturer Participation Trend In Top 20
Maruti Suzuki are maintaining a strong lead in the list of top 20 bestselling with 10 cars. Mahindra have 3 cars while Tata, Hyundai and Toyota have 2 cars each. In July 2024, Toyota managed to gain ground with 2 cars in the top 20 as they snatched a spot on the list from Hyundai.
While Maruti Suzuki are holding strong overall, their stronghold is getting challenged frequently as the top-selling car is often either the Tata Punch or the Hyundai Creta. With the introduction of Tata Curvv (petrol/diesel + electric) and the Thar Roxx, we expect Tata and Mahindra to steal some spaces from Toyota, Hyundai or Maruti in the coming months.
