Toyota Kirloskar Motor have introduced a new manual transmission (MT) variant of the Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4. Priced at Rs 46.36 lakh (ex-showroom), the Legender 4x4 MT offers a more affordable option compared to the automatic transmission variant.

The Legender 4x4 MT is priced Rs 1.73 lakh lower than the automatic variant, which costs Rs 48.09 lakh. This price point positions the Legender 4x4 MT against rivals like the MG Gloster and Jeep Meridian, though it stands out as the only model in its segment to offer a 4x4 system with a manual gearbox.
The Legender 4x4 MT is powered by the same 2.8L 4-cylinder diesel engine found in the 4x4 and 4x2 automatic variants. However, when paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox, the torque output is slightly reduced to 420Nm, while maintaining the 204PS power figure. The SUV retains Toyota’s advanced 4x4 system, allowing drivers to tackle diverse terrains.
There are no changes to the exterior, interior, or feature list compared to the Legender 4x4 automatic variant. The Legender 4x4 manual variant is offered in a single Platinum White Pearl with Black Roof dual-tone exterior finish and 18-inch alloy wheels. The interior maintains the black and maroon theme, featuring ambient lighting, an 11-speaker JBL audio system with a subwoofer, ventilated front seats, a hands-free tailgate, and 7 airbags.
