VinFast have launched the VF7 in India at a starting price of Rs. 20.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 VF7 is VinFast’s debut product for the Indian market and their second most affordable offering after the VF6. In this article, we take a look at the 2025 VF7 variant-wise prices, top features as well as its battery and electric motor specifications.

Available in 5 variants – Earth, Wind, Wind Infinity, Sky and Sky Infinity – the 2025 VF7 is priced from Rs. 20.89 lakh to Rs. 25.49 lakh:

With the above prices, the VinFast VF7 rivals other electric SUVs such as Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, the Mahindra BE6 and the MG ZS EV.

Bookings for the VF7 are already open, with customers able to reserve either model for a token amount of ₹21,000.

2025 Vinfast VF7 Powertrain Specifications

The base Earth variant of the 2025 VinFast VF7 is equipped with a 59.6kWh battery pack, while the mid and top variants get a bigger 70.8kWh battery pack. VinFast claim the base variant can be charged from 10-70% in just 24 minutes using a compatible fast charger, while the other variants take 28 minutes to achieve the same state of charge.

The base Earth variant of the VF7 produces 176PS of power and 250Nm of torque from its front-mounted electric motor. In comparison, the mid Wind and Wind Infinity variants produce 203PS of power and 310Nm of torque. The top Sky and Sky Infinity variants offer a dual-motor configuration and produces 354PS of power and 500Nm of torque.
