    Volkswagen introduces the Crest Collection in India – Perfect blend of German engineering and design

    Europe’s top selling auto major, Volkswagen has introduced the first special edition model of the new Volkswagen Ameo compact sedan in India. Named as the Crest Collection, this special edition is aimed at those buyers who look for something special and extra in their cars. The Crest Collection offers the customers the best of German engineering which is matched with superb styling to make the Volkswagen cars all the more alluring. The Crest Collection promises to charm the buyers with smooth as well as feature packed driving experience along with chic visual appeal.

The Crest Collection offers the customers the best of German engineering which is matched with superb styling to make the Volkswagen cars all the more alluring. The Crest Collection promises to charm the buyers with smooth as well as feature packed driving experience along with chic visual appeal.

    Volkswagen India has introduced the Crest Collection not only on the Ameo compact sedan, but also on the popular Polo premium hatchback and Vento premium sedan. However, while the Crest Collection will be offered across all the variants of the Volkswagen Ameo, it will be offered only on the Comfortline and Highline trims of the Volkswagen Polo and the Highline trim of the Volkswagen Vento.

    The special attractions of the newly introduced Crest Collection edition includes a pure white exterior body color, a contrasting matte black roof, stylish customary Volkswagen side foil as well as removable sun blinds. All this adds to the premium styling of the Volkswagen cars and heighten their appeal for the contemporary style conscious customers.

    While the Crest Collection edition flaunts sophisticated and polished visual appeal on the outside, on the inside it offers suave styling courtesy the premium beige leather upholstery for the seat along with alluring diamond stitching, beautiful floor mats along with perfect fit which are fixed to the floor to avoid slipping and front centre armrest that offers storage space for the knick knacks.

    The Crest Collection edition also keeps in mind of the small yet helpful features which would benefit the customers on the long run and thus, also incorporates little thoughtful additions such as the door step garnish which adds to the look of the car while also protecting the area from scratches.

    The Crest Collection has a heritage which dates back to 1945 and every car that comes under this collection obviously flaunts the ‘Crest’ logo. The Crest badge has been a mighty global symbol and was the first bestowed on the original Volkswagen Beetle which was produced in 1945 in Wolfsburg, Germany.

    The Crest collection is the first special edition model of Volkswagen’s first made in India and made for India car Ameo compact sedan. While being specifically crafted for the Ameo buyers, this edition will also be offered on select Polo and Vento trims as mentioned above. Volkswagen India has launched the Crest Collection in order to appeal to the young Indian buyers who are conscious about not-notch quality, sweeping styling and contemporary comfort features. 

    When prices are concerned, the Crest Collection Polo will cost an additional Rs. 15,000, while the Crest Collection Vento costs Rs. 3000 more.  The Crest Collection package on the Ameo will cost Rs. 21,000- Rs. 25,000 dearer depending on variants. The Crest Collection is available as an additional accessory fitment at all Volkswagen dealerships across India.
