Volkswagen India have officially opened bookings for the highly anticipated Volkswagen Golf GTI. This performance-oriented hot hatchback is set to make its way to India as a fully imported model (CBU), with limited units available.

2025 VW Golf GTI Bookings And Deliveries
Volkswagen have officially opened bookings for the 2025 Golf GTI today. Deliveries are expected to commence in June 2025 from select VW dealers across India. Bookings for the Golf GTI can be made through Volkswagen India's official website.
2025 Golf GTI To Offer Performance-Oriented Powertrain
The Volkswagen Golf GTI is powered by a 2L turbo petrol engine. This engine delivers 265PS of power and 370Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. The same engine and transmission will also power the upcoming Skoda Octavia vRS. VW claim the Golf GTI can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 5.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph.
Volkswagen have also enhanced the Golf GTI’s dynamics with a stiffer suspension setup and upgraded brakes.
2025 Golf GTI Design And Feature Highlights
The Volkswagen Golf GTI showcases a distinctive design that blends sporty appeal with classic German styling. Key design elements include sleek gloss black piano grille with red detailing and a GTI badge, slim LED light bar connecting the headlights, aggressive lower bumper with honeycomb detailing and X-shaped fog lights, 18-inch 5-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, red brake calipers, GTI badge on the front doors, LED tail lamps, dual exhaust setup, illuminated Volkswagen logo, and exterior ambient lighting with welcome and goodbye effect.
On the inside, the Golf GTI offers an all-black dashboard with contrasting red highlights, sports front seats with GTI embossing, Tartan seat upholstery with red accents, leather-wrapped steering wheel and paddle shifters.
