Most Notable Features Of Tata Avinya EV
Tata Motors revealed the Avinya EV in April 2022. The most notable feature of the Avinya EV is its skateboard platform, which they made from ground up to accommodate only electric powertrains and battery pack. Currently, electric vehicles like the Nexon EV, Tiago EV and Tigor EV sit on the mordernised ICE-derived platform. The Avinya, on the other hand, gets the skateboard platform that is likely to feature in the gen-3 electric vehicles from Tata Motors.

Tata Avinya EV Expected Specs
At the global unveil of the Avinya concept, Tata Motors didn’t reveal the specifications of the upcoming electric model. However, the Indian carmaker revealed that its driving range will exceed the 500km mark. Given that it will become their flagship electric model from Tata Motors, it could also offer twin motor setup and 4-wheel drive for some impressive performance figures. We expect Tata Motors to reveal the ballpark performance figures at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Tata Avinya EV Rivals
Tata Motors are yet to reveal the actual bodystyle and segment for the Avinya concept. At the unveiling, the carmaker shared that it will offer the looks of a crossover, practicality of an MPV within a footprint of a hatchback.

Tata Avinya EV Launch Timeline
Tata Motors are likely to launch the Avinya around 2025. The electric vehicle is currently in the concept form and falls in the gen-3 range of Tata Motors. Currently, Tata Motors are focusing on the gen-1 electric vehicles whereas the launches of the gen-2 electric models are in the pipeline.
Tata Avinya EV Expected Price
It’s difficult to estimate the prices of the Avinya concept before having the ballpark performance and battery pack specifications. The Avinya will take a couple of years before turning into a reality and hit the showroom floors.
