Mahindra offer the XUV700 in five variants - MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L. While the top-spec AX7L comes loaded with features, the lower variants in the XUV700 lineup miss out on some essential goodies. We tell you our recommended accessories for each of the XUV700’s variants that you can retrofit from the dealership.

Only the AX7 and AX7L get leather seat upholstery. Hence, if you are getting the MX/AX3/AX5, we recommend you to go with the seat covers. Mahindra offer most of the accessories at attractive prices. However, some accessories like the car cover, coat hanger, and luggage cover fail to justify the asking price.

Mahindra XUV700 MX Recommended Accessories

The XUV700 MX Series misses out on some crucial features like a reverse parking camera, fog lamps, rear defogger, rear wiper, and wheel covers.

Here are our recommended accessories for the XUV700 MX variant:

Reverse parking camera is an essential accessory for the XUV700, owing to its large dimensions. For night driving, we also recommend getting the OEM-spec fog lamps as well. To improve the feel-good quotient, buyers can also opt for 17-inch alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna and sunshades.

Mahindra XUV700 AX3 Recommended Accessories

The XUV700 AX3 misses out on some features which you would otherwise expect in an SUV at its price. These features include LED headlights, LED DRLs, sunglass holder, panoramic sunroof, and alloy wheels.

Mahindra do not offer LED headlights with the AX3, hence we recommend getting the OEM-spec LED headlight bulbs, along with the necessary reverse parking camera. In addition to that, buyers can also opt for sunshades and 17-inch alloy wheels. Wireless smartphone charger may come in handy, given that the XUV700 AX3 gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, at Rs. 8,250, the asking price for the accessory is on the higher side.

Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Recommended Accessories

The XUV700 AX5 misses out on features such as a reverse parking camera, electrically-foldable ORVMs, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, push-button start/stop, and wireless charging.

Mahindra XUV700 AX5 offers LED headlights but to improve the experience, you can also opt for the automatic feature for the headlights. It is surprising to see that Mahindra do not offer a reverse parking camera, even with the AX5 and we highly recommend you to opt for it. You can also opt for front parking sensors and wireless smartphone charging, in case you feel the need.

Mahindra XUV700 AX7 Recommended Accessories

The AX7 gets most of the exclusive features that Mahindra offer with the XUV700. Fortunately, you can accessorise the XUV700 AX7 with these features for an extra cost - wireless charging at Rs. 8,250 and front parking sensors at Rs. 4,500.
