In the Indian market, Volkswagen has discontinued the Tiguan 5-seater SUV as it wasn’t upgraded to adhere to the BS6 emission norms. However, Volkswagen India sells the long wheelbase version of the SUV named as the Tiguan AllSpace. The Tiguan AllSpace comes with a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that offers around 190PS of power at 4200rpm and 320Nm of peak torque between 1500 and 4100rpm. The petrol engine gets paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
