Hyundai To Offer 2022 Tucson In 2 Variants — Platinum And Signature | V3Cars

Hyundai India postponed the launch of the 2022 Tucson from August 4 to August 10. Ahead of its launch, we share multiple details about the upcoming family SUV. Hyundai will offer the 2022 Tucson in two variants — Platinum and Signature, with both petrol and diesel engine options.

2022 Hyundai Tucson

The new 2022 Tucson gains a new variant nomenclature. While the outgoing model used to get GL and GLS variants, the new Tucson will get Platinum and Signature variants. Both Platinum and Signature variants will offer petrol and diesel engine options, with only the Signature offering the diesel-AWD option.

On the features front, the Platinum variant will offer the following features:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Electronic parking brake
  • Dual-zone AC
  • 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Tilt & Telescopic steering
  • Concealed rear wiper with washer
  • Bose sound system
  • Drive mode select
  • 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • 360-degree parking camera
  • Blind view monitor
  • Rain sensing wipers
  • 64 colour ambient lighting
  • 10.25-inch instrument cluster

The Platinum variant comes with a lot of features, with only some feel-good features missing.

The Signature variant offers the following features over the Platinum variant:

  • Front heated and ventilated seats
