The Ertiga facelift’s biggest changes lie under the bonnet. As stated earlier, the 2022 Ertiga will get the 1.5L normal petrol engine with two injectors per cylinder, or Dual-jet technology in Maruti speak. The engine will come coupled with a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The 5-speed manual transmission will carry on as is. Maruti Suzuki will also offer the 2022 Ertiga with a new ZXI CNG variant as well, offering better features than before.

Speaking of features, the 2022 Ertiga will get a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with telematics. Apart from the new touchscreen, we expect the 2022 Ertiga to remain unchanged on the inside. We expect the Ertiga’s cabin to feature beige upholstery and faux wood trim on the dashboard and door panels.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Eritga will go up against the Kia Carens, 2022 Maruti Nexa XL6 and Mahindra Marazzo. Maruti Suzuki are likely to charge a premium over the current Ertiga thanks to the new engine and automatic transmission. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is currently priced from Rs. 8.12 lakh to Rs. 10.85 lakh ex-showroom.
