The brochure of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Arena WagonR facelift recently surfaced online. It reveals all the details about the upcoming WagonR like variant-wise features, some engine details and mileage. Let’s go over all of them one-by-one.
2022 Maruti Arena WagonR Facelift - Engine Specs
Both the engines of the upcoming WagonR facelift will get dual-jet technology with idle-start/stop feature. This will give it a phenomenal mileage figure of up to 25.19kmpl. Mileage figures for all engine-transmission combinations are not available at the moment.
The 1.0L engine will come in LXI and VXI variants. The VXI variant will also get AMT automatic transmission. The 1.2L petrol engine will come in ZXI and ZXI Plus variants. Both variants with the 1.2L petrol engine will get the manual as well as automatic transmission.
The new 2022 WagonR CNG only will come in VXI variant with the 1.0L petrol engine. Maruti Suzuki may also offer a visually different variant of the new WagonR for the commercial or fleet buyers.

2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Facelift LXI - Base Model Features
The LXI base model of the 2022 WagonR facelift will come only with the 1.0L normal petrol engine. It’ll get the following standard features:

- Front power windows
- Digital MID
- 155/80 R13 steel wheels
- Idle start/stop system
- 12V Accessory socket
- Black door handles and outside mirrors
- Body-coloured bumpers
New Maruti WagonR Facelift VXI Features
The 2022 Maruti WagonR facelift will come with a 1.0L normal petrol engine with manual and AMT automatic transmission. It’ll come with the following additional features over the LXI variant:
- Body-coloured outside mirrors and outside mirrors
- Tilt steering
- day/night inside mirror
- 60-40 Split rear seatback
- Rear power windows
- USB socket
- Wheel covers
- 165/70 R14 steel wheels
- Auto door lock
- Vanity mirror
- Music system with Bluetooth and 2 speakers
- Hills start assist (with AMT only)
- Remote central locking
- Power mirrors
2022 Maruti WagonR ZXI Features
The ZXI variant will only get steering-mounted controls as an additional feature over the VXI variant. It’ll only get the 1.2L normal petrol engine with manual and AMT automatic transmissions.

2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR Facelift ZXI Plus Features
The ZXI Plus top model of the Maruti WagonR 2022 will get the following additional features over the lower ZXI variant:
- Front fog lamps
- Power folding outside mirrors
- Tachometer
- Outside mirrors with side indicator
- Front passenger under seat tray
- 7-inch touchscreen
- 165/70 R14 alloy wheels
- Rear washer wiper
- Rear defogger
Just like the ZXI variant, the WagonR top model will also get only the 1.2L normal petrol engine with manual and AMT automatic transmission options.
