2023 Citroen C3 Aircross India Unveil Date

Citroen India will reveal the C3 Aircross globally in India on April 27, 2023. The carmaker is likely to commence bookings for the SUV on the unveil day while the launch could take place a couple of weeks after the global debut. The new C3 Aircross is likely to share its underpinnings and powertrains with the C3 hatchback while offering bigger proportions and 3 rows of seats.

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross Exterior Details

Citroen recently dropped the first teaser image of the new C3 Aircross, giving us a sneak peek into its headlight design. Like the smaller C3, the C3 Aircross gets a semi-X shaped LED DRL pattern along with a main halogen headlight. The C3 Aircross could offer a bigger grille up front with a gloss black finish. The teaser image also reveals the turn indicators placed on the outside rearview mirrors. The C3, on the other hand, comes with bulb-type indicators placed on the front fenders. We expect the carmaker to reveal the complete design of the C3 Aircross on its global debut. 

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross Interior Details

The new C3 Aircross is likely to share its dashboard design and overall interior layout with the C3, albeit with a couple of new features. These features could include a new digital instrument cluster with a tachometer, rear AC vents, touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and telematics, 2nd- and 3rd-row charging ports and automatic climate control.

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross Powertrain Details

The new C3 Aircross is likely to share its powertrains with the C3 hatchback. Citroen offer the C3 with 2 engine options — 1.2L normal petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol. The 1.2L normal petrol engine of the C3 offers 82PS of power at 5750rpm and 115Nm of torque at 3750rpm. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine offers 110PS of power at 5500rpm and 190Nm of torque at 1750rpm. With the C3 Aircross, Citroen could offer the option of both 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission option.

2023 Citroen C3 Aircross Launch And Rivals

Citroen India will unveil the new C3 Aircross on April 27, 2023 and the launch is likely to take place a couple of weeks after the unveiling. Since the C3 Aircross will offer a 3-row seating configuration, it is likely to exceed the sub-4m length and fall in the C-segment. Hence, it could rival other C-segment SUVs and MPVs like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, MG Astor and Maruti Suzuki XL6.
