Citroen India have updated the turbo petrol engine of the C3 to meet the BS6 phase-2 and road driving emission standards. With the update, the C3 turbo also gets a new Shine variant with new features. Read on to know the prices and features of the updated Citroen C3.
Citroen C3 Shine Turbo Launched
After the launch of the C3 Shine normal petrol variant, Citroen India have now launched the C3 Shine turbo petrol variant. The new Shine variant offers 13 new safety and functional features.

- Electronic stability control (ESP)
- Hill hold control
- Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Engine auto start/stop
- Electrically-adjustable ORVMs

- Front fog lights

Citroen C3 Normal Petrol And Turbo Petrol Now BS6-2 Compliant
With the launch of the updated C3 turbo petrol, both the normal petrol and turbo petrol engine of the C3 now comply with the BS6 phase-2 emission norms. Furthermore, both engines can now run on E20 fuel, which is 20% ethanol blended petrol.

Both engines of the C3 produce the same power and torque outputs as the earlier models. It is interesting to note that despite the additional power and torque output of the turbo petrol engine, it delivers the same claimed fuel efficiency of 19.3kmpl as the normal petrol engine.
