The ASEAN NCAP also rated the 2023 Creta for its Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) implementation. In the safety assist category, the new Creta got 14.79 points out of 21 for an overall 70% score.

The adult safety holds the highest weightage of 40% among all other tests and is the most important. After also taking into account the child safety, ADAS, motorcyclist and pedestrian safety into account, the Creta’s final score stood at 75.78%. It performed very well in adult, child and ADAS tests but the 57% score in motorcyclists and pedestrian tests dragged the overall score down for the Creta.

Hyundai Creta Facelift At Auto Expo 2023

We’re expecting to see the Hyundai Creta facelift at the Auto Expo 2023. Besides some design changes, we expect the Creta to offer ADAS features to improve its appeal to C-segment SUV buyers. The Creta is currently one of the only 2 cars in its class to offer a diesel engine with a manual as well as an automatic transmission. We expect it to retain the diesel engine going forward to maintain that exclusivity despite buyer preference declining for diesel cars.
