As per Hyundai, all the powertrains of the Exter are tuned to deliver consistent performance in diverse conditions. Hence, we could expect the carmaker to tune the powertrains differently for the Exter.

2023 Hyundai Exter Variants And Features

Hyundai offer the Exter in 5 variants — EX, S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Connect. The top-spec variant of the Exter is likely to offer features like a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlights, wireless phone charger, rear AC vents and front and rear seat armrests. Furthermore, the SX (O) Connect could also offer connected car technology features as standard.

2023 Hyundai Exter Launch Details

Hyundai have already opened bookings for the Exter ahead of its launch, which is likely to take place in August. We expect Hyundai to host the global debut of the Exter small SUV in June and series production could kickstart in July 2023. The Exter is likely to be priced around Rs. 6 lakh and rival the Tata Punch, Citroen C3 and the non-turbo variants of the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
