Hyundai have revealed the Level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features of the 2023 Verna. The new Verna is the only other sedan in the C-segment to offer ADAS features.

Hyundai are yet to reveal the list of new Verna variants that will offer the above-mentioned ADAS features. The new Verna’s arch rival — the Honda City — offers level-2 ADAS features in its top 3 variants with both manual and automatic transmission options.

The 2023 Hyundai Verna will offer a choice of 2 engine options — 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol. While the new Verna borrows the 1.5L normal petrol engine from the Hyundai Creta, the 1.5L turbo petrol engine is an all-new engine. Both engines comply with BS6 phase-2 emission norms and are E20 fuel-ready. Take a look at the power and torque outputs of both 1.5L normal petrol and 1.5L turbo petrol engines:
Bookings for the 2023 Hyundai Verna are currently open for a token amount of Rs. 25,000. Hyundai will reveal the complete variant list and prices of the new Verna on March 21, 2023. It will continue to rival other C-segment sedans like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
