Land Rover India have launched the updated 2023 Velar SUV at a price of Rs. 93.00 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Velar comes in a single HSE Dynamic variant and two powertrain options. Read on to know more about the 2023 Range Rover Velar.
2023 Range Rover Velar Facelift Exterior Changes
The Range Rover Velar facelift features minor changes to its exterior design. Up front, the Velar facelift gets updated pixel LED headlights that are slimmer than before and incorporate a redesigned daytime running lamp (DRL). The 2023 Velar also features a new grille with slim cylindrical elements. Around the side, the Velar continues to offer an unbroken waistline and flush-fitting door handles. At the rear, the Velar facelift gets updated LED tail lights, a lower bumper and a couple of dark accents.

2023 Range Rover Velar Interior
On the inside, the biggest change is the new 11.4-inch curved Pivi Pro infotainment system. The new touchscreen replaces the old twin screen setup and leaves the dashboard with a minimalistic look. The curved screen cuts unnecessary reflections and offers wireless functionality for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, the new Velar facelift offers improved active noise cancellation, a flowing centre console with wooden inserts and a redesigned steering wheel. Apart from that, the space, practicality and features remain the same as the outgoing model.
2023 Range Rover Velar Powertrain Options
Land Rover India continue to offer the Velar with a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.0L turbo diesel engine in the Dynamic HSE trim. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine produces 204PS of power and 430Nm of torque whereas the 2.0L petrol engine produces 250PS of power and 365Nm of torque. Both engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and get mild-hybrid support as well. The updated model also received the new P400e plug-in-hybrid engine in the international markets. However, this powertrain hasn’t made to our market.

2023 Range Rover Velar Prices And Rivals
The updated Range Rober Velar is priced at Rs. 93 lakh (ex-showroom) for both the petrol and diesel engine options. It rivals other luxury SUVs like the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, Jaguar F-Pace and Porsche Macan. Mercedes-Benz India are all set to launch the new-gen GLC on August 9, 2023.
