2023 Tata Nexon EV Features
We expect Tata Motors to reveal the complete details of the new Nexon EV on September 7. Just like the new Nexon, the 2023 Nexon EV will boast the new design language that includes the split LED headlight design and connected LED tail lights. However, to create a design distinction between the electric and ICE models, Tata could add a few EV specific touches to the Nexon EV.
In terms of features, the Nexon EV could offer a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, new 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, multi-level regenerative braking, multiple drive modes, a wireless phone charger, and front ventilated seats.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Electric Powertrain Specs
In terms of specifications, Tata Motors could enhance the battery efficiency and overall driving range of the 2023 Nexon EV. However, we do not expect Tata to offer any drastic changes over the outgoing Nexon EV Max. The current Nexon EV Max comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack, which powers a front-mounted electric motor. It offers 143PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 453km on a single charge. It also offers multiple levels for regenerative braking and 3 driving modes. In terms of charging, the Nexon EV Max can be charged from 0-80% in under 1 hour with a 50kW DC fast charger.

With the unveil set to take place on September 7, Tata Motors could annonce the prices of the electric SUV at the launch of the Nexon, which is slated to take place on September 14. The new Nexon EV will continue to rival other electric SUVs like the Hyundai Kona EV, Mahindra XUV400 and MG ZS EV.
