The upcoming Kia EV9’s brochure confirms the electric SUV will launch in a fully-specced, 6-seater GT Line variant with all-wheel-drive. We expect Kia to price their flagship electric SUV around Rs. 80.0 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the Kia EV9 will rival the Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4Matic, which is smaller in terms of dimensions.

Speaking of dimensions, the here’s the length, width, height, and wheelbase of the upcoming Kia EV9:

The 2024 EV9 boasts the Kia’s latest design language, featuring a boxy silhouette with futuristic touches like DRLs integrated into the enclosed grille, ‘ice cube’ LED projector headlamps, flush door handles, 20-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels, LED tail lights, and faux silver skid plates at the front and rear. Overall, we expect the Kia EV9 to offer tremendous road presence thanks to its boxy yet futuristic styling.

Kia EV9 Interior And Features  

The Kia EV9 GT Line AWD 6-Seater variant comes with a dual-tone interior with leatherette seats, an 4-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, dual sunroof and head-up display. The flagship EV9 will also offer Kia’s Trinity Panoramic Display, which combines two 12.3-inch screens and a 5-inch screen integrated into a single panel. The smaller 5.3-inch screen edged in between the larger screens displays the vehicle’s climate control settings. The drive and steering modes are controlled by 2 buttons placed under the horn pad on the steering wheel. Other feature highlights include:

Kia EV9 Electric Motor And Battery Specs

The India-spec Kia EV9 comes with a 99.8kWh battery pack that offers an ARAI MIDC-claimed driving range of 561km per charge. The 2024 Kia EV9 supports DC fast charging, allowing the SUV to charge from 10% - 80% in just 24 minutes.
