2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport — Exterior Changes

On the outside, the updated Discovery Sport offers a handful of cosmetic updates. The Discovery Sport S offers a gloss black grille with a mesh finish along with silver skid plates, gloss black roof and Discovery Sport branding on the bonnet. Furthermore, the SUV continues to offer LED headlights with a twin LED DRL pattern, LED tail lights and 21-inch optional alloy wheels.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport — Interior And Features

The Land Rover Discovery Sport’s biggest changes lie on the inside in the form of a redesigned dashboard and a new infotainment system. The updated Discovery Sport now offers a single 11.4-inch curved infotainment system, replacing the older twin-screen layout. The secondary screen of the outgoing model makes way for a more spacious centre console with storage spaces. It also gets a new steering wheel, capacitive controls and a new gear selector as well. Furthermore, the Discovery Sport continues to offer the clear sight feature, which projects the rear feed from a camera placed on the shark fin antenna.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport — Powertrain Details

The Discovery Sport continues to offer a range of petrol, diesel and plug-in-hybrid powertrain options. Its 2.0L turbo petrol engine produces 250PS of power at 5500rpm and 365Nm of torque between 1300rpm and 4500rpm. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine offers 200PS of power at 3750rpm and 430Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. Both the petrol and diesel engines are also offered in the India-spec Discovery Sport and we expect the updated model to carry the same engine options too.

2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport — Launch Details

Land Rover are generally quick to bring their updated lineup to India. Hence, we expect the SUV-maker to launch the updated Discovery Sport in India in the coming weeks. The new Discovery Sport will continue to rival other luxury SUVs like the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60. The current Land Rover Discovery Sport sold in India is priced at Rs. 71.39 lakh (ex-showroom) for both the petrol and diesel engine options.
