Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC Design And Features

The Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC for India is marketed as the high performance variant of the C-Class sedan. It is brought to India via the CBU route and features several AMG-specific design elements and features. Up front, the C43 4MATIC gets Mercedes’ latest version of the Pan American grille with vertical slats and AMG front bumpers with large air intakes. Other notable features include adaptive LED headlamps, AMG alloy wheels and quad exhaust pipes.

The interior of the C43 4MATIC offers features such as:

Mercedes-Benz GLE Powertrain

Powering the new C43 4MATIC is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine mated to a 48V mild hybrid system. The turbo petrol engine puts out 402PS of power and 500Nm of peak torque. It comes with a boost function too, which enables the sedan to sprint from 0-100kmph in 4.6 secs.

Power is sent to all wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission and Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The C43 4MATIC also boasts 4-wheel steering to aid manoeuvrability at low speeds and stability at high speeds.

In India, the Mercedes-Benz GLE competes with the BMW M340i and Audi S5 Sportback.
