BYD India have launched the all-new, 2025 Sealion 7 electric SUV at a starting price of Rs. 48.9 lakh (ex-showroom). BYD showcased the Sealion 7 at the Auto Expo 2025 and opened bookings at the event. Within a month, the Sealion 7 has garnered over 1,000 bookings. 2025 BYD Sealion 7 Ex-Showroom Prices
The 2025 Sealion 7 from BYD is available in 2 variants – Performance and Premium – with all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive configurations, respectively. Both variants come equipped with an 82.56kWh battery pack.
BYD’s promotional booking offer, which included benefits worth Rs. 70,000 along with additional warranty and a complimentary 7kW home charger with free installation for the first 70 customers, is now over. However, interested customers can still book the Sealion 7 for a token amount of Rs. 70,000. Deliveries of the Sealion 7 will begin in mid-March 2025.

2025 BYD Sealion 7 Design And Features
The BYD Sealion 7 electric SUV adopts BYD’s OceanX design language, incorporating X-shaped motifs seen on the Seal sedan. The coupe-SUV shares design elements with the Seal, including similar headlights and connected taillights, but features more aggressively styled front and rear bumpers. The Sealion 7 measures over 4.8 meters in length and has a 2930mm wheelbase.
Exterior colour options for the 2025 BYD Sealion 7 include:
- Cosmos Black
- Atlantis Grey
- Aurora White
- Shark Grey.
Inside, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a familiar feature in other BYD models, dominates the dashboard, controlling most vehicle functions. Other highlights include:
- Floating instrument cluster
- Ventilated front seats
- Power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function
- Panoramic glass roof
- 50W wireless phone charger
- Head-up display (HUD)
- Connected car technology
- Powered tailgate
- Vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability
Safety features on the Sealion 7 include 11 airbags and an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) suite.
