2025 Citroen Basalt X: What’s New?

At first glance, the new Basalt X looks similar to the standard Basalt. However, a closer look reveals changes such as a thin red strip on the front lower bumper (first introduced in Basalt Dark) and a new Basalt X badge on the tailgate. Other exterior highlights include LED projector headlamps, 3D-effect tail lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and side body cladding.

On the inside, the Basalt X Max variant gets a new black and tan theme instead of the previous all-white theme. The new colour scheme, along with new additions such as a rear armrest with cupholders, give the Basalt X Max’s cabin a more premium feel. Other feature additions in the top Max variant include:

  • Ventilated front seats
  • 360-degree camera
  • Cruise control
  • Auto-dimming IRVM

Like the regular model, the Basalt X also offers a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, and adjustable under-thigh support for rear seat passengers.
