Hyundai India have launched the 2025 Exter SX Tech variant with prices starting at Rs. 7.48 lakh (ex-showroom). The new SX Tech variant of the Exter is available with both petrol and CNG engine options. Let’s take a look at the features the new variant has to offer.

The new Hyundai Exter SX Tech variant is available with 3 powertrain options – a 1.2L normal petrol-manual, 1.2L normal petrol-automatic and a 1.2L CNG-manual.
The new SX Tech variant of the Aura offers several features over the S and S Plus variants below it. They include:
The 2025 Hyundai Exter SX Tech petrol variant is powered by a 1.2L normal petrol engine that produces 83PS of power and 114Nm of torque. The Exter SX Tech CNG variant, on the other hand, gets a 1.2L CNG engine that churns out 69PS of power and 95Nm of torque. The Exter SX Tech petrol is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 5-speed AMT, while the CNG variant is only offered with a 5-speed manual. In terms of rivals, the new variants of the Exter compete against the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor and the Tata Punch.

Apart from the reintroduction of the Exter S Plus variant, Hyundai have updated the S variant below it. The Exter S petrol variants now come with the following features:
The Hyundai Exter S petrol manual and automatic variants are Rs. 20,000 more affordable than the S Plus variant.
Last but not least, Hyundai have introduced the CNG powertrain to the S Executive and S Plus Executive variants.
