First Spot: 2025 Kia Carens Turbo Petrol Variant With ACMT Discontinued | V3Cars

Last month, Kia India streamlined the variant list and transmission options for the 2025 Carens MPV. The Prestige and X-Line variants of the Carens were discontinued to make way for the more premium Carens Clavis MPV. 2025 Kia Carens Feature Highlights

The Kia Carens’ single variant offers the following features:

  • 8-inch touchscreen
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Keyless entry
  • 5x USB-C ports
  • Power-adjustable ORVMs

However, it now misses out on features such as ventilated seats, alloy wheels, sunroof and a six-seat configuration. Kia India will now offer these features with the 2025 Carens Clavis only.

The Carens Clavis is available in multiple variants and offers a broader range of transmission choices, including a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed auto-clutch manual (ACMT), a 6-speed torque converter (TC) and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Kia's strategy of offering the Carens with just the normal petrol and diesel engine options is likely geared towards appealing to budget-focused individual buyers as well as fleet and commercial customers. The Carens Premium (O) model continues to be available in a selection of 7 exterior colours
